How To Play

Setup

Step 1: Shuffle the deck.

Step 2: Choose one player to be the DJ.

Step 3: Decide:

  • Round length (10–20 seconds recommended)

  • Whether you’re playing Points, Elimination, or Party Mode

Clear a dance space. Everyone stands.



Standard Rules

Step 1: Draw

On your turn, draw 1 card and read the dance or move out loud.
Hand your card to the DJ.

Step 2: Drop the Beat

The DJ plays:

  • The official song, OR

  • Any beat that matches the dance’s tempo or vibe.

Step 3: Perform

You have 3 seconds to start dancing.

  • Recognition and confidence matter more than perfection.

  • Hesitation or refusal = automatic fail.

Step 4: Crowd Judgment

The group votes:

  • ✅ Pass – You hit the move

  • ❌ Fail – You didn’t

Majority rules. No debates.




Battle Mode

This mode replaces standard turns and becomes the main competitive experience.

Step 1: DJ Selects the Card

  • The DJ draws a card secretly

  • The DJ announces the dance and song out loud

  • The card is not shown to the players

Step 2: DJ Selects the battlers

  • DJ chooses two players to battle

  • Battlers step into the dance space

Step 3: Same Song. Same Dance.

  • The DJ plays one song

  • Both players must attempt:

    • The same dance

    • To the same beat

    • At the same time

Step 4: One Take Only

  • No practice

  • No restarting

  • No explaining the move

Step 5: Crowd Votes

After the music stops, the crowd votes:

  • 🏆 Winner – Best execution, confidence, and vibe

  • 💀 Loser – Gets cooked

The DJ breaks ties if needed.
