About Us

Welcome to You Can’t Dance!

We’re the creators of popular trivia and party games like Black Card Revoked, Girls Night Out, Angry Moms, and Latino Card Revoked—games designed to bring people together through laughter, culture, and friendly competition.

With You Can’t Dance!, we wanted to celebrate something that has united people for generations: music and dance.

The Inspiration Behind the Game

Dance crazes have been a powerful part of American culture for more than a century. From early social dances and jazz-era moves to hip-hop party dances and today’s viral TikTok trends, dance has always been a way for people to express themselves, celebrate community, and connect across backgrounds.

Many of the dance movements that shaped American popular culture were pioneered in Black communities, where music, rhythm, and movement have long served as forms of storytelling, celebration, and cultural expression. These traditions helped influence everything from jazz and swing to funk, hip-hop, street dance, and modern viral dance challenges.

Throughout history, dance crazes—from The Twist and The Hustle to The Running Man, The Dougie, and the latest social media trends—have spread through music, parties, clubs, and now the internet. What begins in local communities often grows into national and global movements that bring people together.

You Can’t Dance! was created as a tribute to that tradition.

Our Goal

We designed You Can’t Dance! as a fun way to celebrate the creativity of dancers, musicians, and cultural innovators who helped shape the dance moves we all know today.

Our goal is simple:

Get people off the couch and dancing together.

Whether you’re a great dancer or someone who “can’t dance” at all, the game is about laughter, confidence, and creating unforgettable moments with friends and family.

Because at the end of the day, the best dance move is simply having the courage to try.
